A cleaner handover from contractor to client

What is new

• Direct client onboarding. A client who signs up from a contractor's status invitation is linked before the app opens and lands in the correct project.
• Linked work in Projects. A client can find a contractor-managed job in their own Projects list and open it with buyer-side, read-only access.
• New Request stays within reach. The primary action remains fixed at the bottom of the resident home screen instead of scrolling away.
• Cleaner time tracking. Completed and archived projects no longer appear in work-clock pickers, and a new timer cannot be started for them.
• Clearer professional onboarding. Company owners create the company profile, while employees are directed to join their existing team through an admin invitation.
• A focused construction overview. Active projects stay visible while completed and archived work is available in a collapsed section.
• Milestones with actionable tasks. Teams can add descriptions and manage the tasks, materials, travel, and assignments that belong to each milestone.
• One source for labor rates. Labor tasks automatically use the assigned person's project rate from Team, keeping estimates consistent across mobile and Pro.
• Clearer business figures. Pro now emphasizes revenue, invoiced, paid, and outstanding amounts instead of incomplete profit projections.
• Safer links and recovery. Invalid, removed, inaccessible, offline, and unexpected destinations now explain what happened and provide a safe way back.

From invitation to the right project

Contractors can share a live project-status invitation with their client. When the invited person creates an account from that page, Baubiber now completes the project claim before opening the signed-in app. The first screen is the shared project summary, not generic onboarding.

That project also remains available in the client's Projects list. The client can follow the plan, milestones, logbook, and finances without receiving contractor editing or matching permissions.

Plans, site records, and follow-ups stay distinct

An accepted itemized offer establishes the execution plan: its milestones and budget items carry into the project. The site Logbook starts empty until the crew records work, photos, or time. The Tasks tracker remains a separate checklist for follow-ups. Keeping these layers separate means planned work is never mistaken for completed work.

Milestones are easier to turn into work

Milestones can now include a clear description of what completion means. In Pro, each milestone shows its task count and provides one place to add, edit, remove, and assign labor, material, travel, or other work. Priced changes still follow the existing client approval process.

Labor pricing stays governed by Team. Once a person is assigned, Baubiber applies that person's project rate automatically and enforces the same rule on the server, so an old app or a different screen cannot silently introduce another hourly rate.

Useful numbers without guesswork

The Pro dashboard now focuses on figures backed by actual project and invoice records: revenue, invoiced, paid, and outstanding. Project cards use revenue consistently, while attention stays focused on overdue invoices and milestones.

A helpful way out when a link is wrong

A mistyped, outdated, removed, or account-specific link no longer ends in a spinner or a raw authorization error. Baubiber explains whether the destination is unavailable, inaccessible, or temporarily offline, offers retry where useful, and always provides a safe route back into the app.

Less clutter in daily work

The New Request action now stays visible while residents browse their home feed. For professionals, both the task picker and the broader project picker exclude completed and archived jobs. The same rule is enforced when a timer starts, so older clients cannot accidentally book new time to closed work. In Pro, the construction overview now keeps closed projects behind an expandable control instead of mixing them into active work.

Professional profiles say what customers need to know

Professional signup now distinguishes people who run a company from employees joining one. Employees are pointed to the invitation from their company administrator, and profile prompts focus on services, experience, and specialties instead of property-manager-specific wording.
